WELCOME TO
THE ST. JAMES’
WORLD OF
DENTAL CARE

DENTAL
CARE

We provide a full range of high quality dental care and cosmetic dentistry, to help you achieve a beautiful healthy smile.

FACIAL
AESTHETICS

Helen has undertaken further training, and we are able to offer a wide range of facial treatments  in a safe medical environment.

We wanted to take a moment to reassure you that we are open, and the government has advised that dental appointments should continue during this national lockdown. Also, under the new lockdown guidelines you are allowed to leave your home and your area for dental appointments.

We want to reassure you that we are limiting the number of people in the building and are observing social distancing as well as staff and patient PPE. Each patient appointment is risk assessed and we will not allow anyone with symptoms or contact with a confirmed case to attend an appointment.

The Coronavirus pandemic has brought many changes to the way we work. To ensure the safety of both our patients and our team, we have made several amendments to the way that we deliver dental care and are confident in our operating procedures.

Our front door is operated by a call system which means no one enters the building without us welcoming them and without having a prior risk assessment. Everyone is asked to sanitise their hands-on entry and when leaving.

If you have any questions or concerns about attending, please feel free to call and speak to a member of the team.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.

COVID-19 UPDATE

For example:

  • Our practice will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again at your appointment
  • We have hand sanitiser that we will ask you to use when you enter the practice. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the practice for you to use as needed.
  • We no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

How you can help:

  • With the exception of children and patients with carers, patients should come alone
  • A distance of at least 2 metres must be observed if another patient is present in the dental practice
  • Payment should be made by card where possible
  • Staff will not shake your hand
  • If you show symptoms following appointment booking, you should contact the practice by phone
  • Please do not arrive early to the practice. If necessary, you should wait outside the practice
  • Please do not arrive without an appointment

TESTIMONIAL, FROM MRS S

From the outset the advice, availability of choice and your care was excellent.

What can I say? I was so satisfied with the decision to approach you for dental treatment, the outcome is outstanding. From the outset the advice, availability of choice and your care was excellent.

I can say that the treatment was an enjoyable experience and moreover the outcome has changed my approach to engaging people in conversation. Shyness was never a trait, my cheeky grin is replaced with an ever so present smile.”
