PERIODONTAL (GUM ) TREATMENT
Gum disease can be treated with regular cleaning and help with improving your oral hygiene, appointments are available with our dentist and hygienist.

FILLINGS
Our practice does not use amalgam, all our fillings are tooth coloured and are used to repair decayed and fractured teeth.

DENTURES
Acrylic and chrome materials can be used to replace missing teeth.
SPORTSGUARDS
For children and adults who are involved in contact sports, such as hockey, rugby and martial arts, custom made guards can be produced to protect the teeth from trauma. A variety of colours and designs are available.

ABOUT THE DENTIST
HELEN CHRISIE BDS MFGDP

DENTAL SURGEON
Helen qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 1992 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and in 1993 completed a year of Vocational Training at a dental practice in Sedgley. Helen then worked locally in general dental practices in Blackheath and Quinton before taking over the Wollaston practice in 1998.
The practice then moved to the existing premises in 1999.
Helen gained a post graduate Diploma in General Dental Practice in 2002 and is a Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (MFGDP).
Helen enjoys all aspects of dentistry, its diversity and complexity.
Further training was completed in 2015 for Facial Aesthetics and in 2017 Helen completed the Aesthetic Restorative Course with Neil Wilson at his specialist practice, CESRC in Solihull.
Away from the practice Helen is married and spare time is taken up with her twins Zoe & Lucas, gardening, walking her dog, running and trips to the beach.
